2. Spatial structure of populations (including metapopulation structure)
3. Scale of ecological studies in space and time
4. Stability and complexity in ecological communities
5. Food web patterns
6. Relative abundance of species
7. Relationships between spcies numbers, sizes, ranges, etc. (so-called "Macroecology")
8. Biochemical cycles and balances
9. Conservation problems and priorities.
